The Flight Instructor Rating (FIR) is a fun and rewarding course.
Upon successful completion of the course you will be able to instruct students to fly on both CASA and RA-Aus aircraft.

Aeronautical Requirements

Aeronautical requirements for the issue of a Flight Instructor Rating are detailed in Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) Part 61.T.1.
The aeronautical requirements are; not less than 50 hours of flight time consisting of no less than 30 hours dual with a Grade 1 Flight Instructor

Other Requirements

Prior to undertaking the Flight Instructor Rating Course, you will need to have obtained a Commercial Pilot Licence and a Night VFR Rating (Goulburn Flight Training Academy can provide training).
